Manage your app user accounts

In your KWS Control Panel, you can view all the users in a selected app. You can also view a selected user’s profile. Most profile information is read-only; however, you can perform actions relating to the parent email address associated with that user. You can also delete a parent’s account completely from the KWS database.

  1. Log into your KWS Control Panel.
  2. In the main menu, select the My Apps option.
  3. Click the name of the required app.
  4. In the main submenu, click Users. A list of all users in the selected app is displayed.
  5. To find a specific user, use the search controls on the left-hand side.
  6. Click the username of the user you wish to view or edit. The user’s profile information is displayed, with the username as its heading:
  1. You can add, change or clear a Parent email address. Click Update to save your changes.
  2. Click Remind to send an email to that address to remind the parent to review their kid’s consent requests.
  3. Click Unlink to disassociate that parent email address from the kid’s account. As a result, the parent whose Parent Portal account is linked to that email address can no longer manage that kid’s permissions.
  4. Click Delete to delete the parent’s account and email address from your KWS environment.
  5. At the bottom of the view, the green permissions are those to which the user’s parent has consented. The greyed-out permissions do not have the parent’s consent.
